Kuyu art
Little is known about the Kouyou ethnic group, known mainly for its head marottes - representing the God Ebongo who was revealed to young men at the end of initiation - carried on pikes (up to 20 m high) during ritual dances and also for its statues topped with a totemic animal.
The Kuyu marotte
This typical marotte is particularly refined and has a very original headdress
